Overview

This is an add-in card and not a drive. The 7N47A00097 is a half-height, half-length (HHHL) PCIe flash adapter with 1.92TB of Mixed Use NVMe storage on a PCIe 3.0 x4 link. It plugs into a slot in the server and does not use a front drive bay.

That design is useful when all the bays are taken or when you want fast flash close to the CPU for databases, caches or scratch space. It is not hot-swap, so installing or replacing the card means opening the server.

Listed compatible systems: SD530, SR850, SR860, SR950 and SR650. Lenovo's feature code is AUUP.
