Overview

Four SFP28 ports on an OCP 3.0 SFF card: the ThinkSystem Broadcom 57504 10/25GbE adapter (MPN 4XC7A80567) runs each port at 10 or 25GbE on the Broadcom 57504 controller, with a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface. OCP 3.0 is a dedicated network slot, which leaves the regular PCIe slots free for other cards.

For virtualized hosts, the card supports SR-IOV with up to 1024 virtual functions, and RDMA over RoCEv2 for storage and cluster traffic. The feature code is BPPW.

It is compatible with a long list of ThinkSystem servers, including the SR630 V3, SR650 V3, SR635 V3, SR665 V3, SR630 V4, SR650 V4, SR850 V3, SR675 V3, SR630 V2, SR650 V2 and SR665. The full list is in the FAQ. SFP28 accepts optical modules or direct-attach cables.
