Four SFP28 ports on a standard PCIe card: the Lenovo Broadcom 57454 10/25GbE SFP28 4-port PCIe Ethernet Adapter V2 (MPN 4XC7A08316) runs each port at 10 or 25GbE on the Broadcom 57454 controller. Because it is a regular PCIe card rather than an OCP module, it suits servers where the OCP slot is already taken or not present.

Compatible systems are the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650, SR635, SR655, SR630 V2, SR650 V2, SD630 V2 and SR630. The Lenovo feature code is BD49, and the V2 in the title marks a revision of the card, so check that the number matches your configuration.

Four ports from one slot give room for separate networks or for more bandwidth. SFP28 takes optics or direct-attach cables, so plan the media to suit your switch ports. Ports that negotiate down to 10GbE also let you stay on an existing 10G switch until 25G is ready.
