At 3.84TB, the Lenovo ThinkSystem 3.84TB SAS 24G SFF PM1653 Read Intensive Hot-Swap SSD, 4XB7A80320, gives a SAS server a deep flash tier in a 15 mm, 2.5in hot-swap carrier. It is built on Samsung 128-layer V-NAND TLC, and the OEM drive number is MZILG3T8HCLS-V7.

On a 24 Gbps SAS link it reaches 2100 MB/s sequential read and 2000 MB/s sequential write, with 420000 random read IOPS and 140000 random write IOPS. Latency is 120 µs for reads and 45 µs for writes. Endurance is 1 DWPD, or 7008 TB written, which places it under data that is read often and rewritten less. The drive is self-encrypting (SED, TCG Enterprise), draws 14.7 W and has an MTBF of 2000000 hours.
