For dense compute clusters, one such drive per node can hold a large local replica of a dataset, saving trips across the network. Applications that load reference data, genomic indexes or model files fit this pattern. Workloads with heavy continuous writes do not. Confirm with us if you need those. The 01KR551 can be ordered new, refurbished or used. New and refurbished units include a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty. Used units carry 90 days.
