Overview

The Lenovo Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx 10/25GbE adapter (MPN 00MN990) has one SFP28 port that supports 10GbE or 25GbE, which lets you start on 10G switches and move to 25G later without swapping the card. It comes in the ML2 form and uses the Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx controller.

Listed compatible systems: Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850, SR860, SR950, SR650 and SR850P. Its feature code is ATZR. ML2 keeps a PCIe slot free in these servers.

Single-port cards are fine when redundancy comes from a second card or a different path, but a design that needs two links from one adapter should look elsewhere.
