Overview

The DC600ME adds self-encryption to Kingston's mixed-use SATA server drive. This 1.92TB model supports TCG Opal 2.0 with AES 256-bit, so data at rest stays locked if a drive leaves the building, which helps with compliance and drive returns.

It fits a 2.5-inch, 7mm bay, connects at 6 Gb/s SATA and supports hot plug. Performance is 560 MB/s sequential read, 530 MB/s sequential write, 94,000 random read IOPS and 78,000 random write IOPS. Endurance is 1 DWPD, or 3504 TB written, on 3D TLC. It includes power loss protection, draws up to 3.6 W, weighs 92.34 g and carries an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.
