Overview

Kingston SEDC450R/3840G is the self-encrypting version of the DC450R, a read-centric SATA SSD for data center servers. It suits workloads that read far more than they write, such as boot volumes, web serving, content delivery and read caches, where encryption at rest is also required.

The drive holds 3.84TB in a 7 mm 2.5in SFF case on a 6 Gb/s SATA interface, and it is hot-plug capable. It uses 3D TLC NAND.
