Overview

Faster ports and higher throughput define the Juniper SRX1600-AC. The 1U firewall has 16 x 1GbE RJ-45, 4 x 1/10GbE SFP+ and 2 x 1/10/25GbE SFP28 ports, with MACsec on the SFP+ and SFP28 ports. Two dedicated 1GbE SFP ports serve high availability links between a pair of units.

Firewall throughput is 24 Gbps, or 12 Gbps with IMIX traffic. NGFW throughput is 19 Gbps, and IPsec VPN throughput is 18 Gbps across up to 2000 tunnels. The firewall handles up to 2,000,000 sessions and stores logs and software on a 120 GB SSD.

Two 450 W AC power supplies run 1+1 redundant and hot-swappable, and 3 fan modules are 2+1 redundant. Maximum draw is 162 W, airflow is front-to-back, and the unit weighs 7.1 kg at 4.42 x 43.89 x 46.23 cm. Junos OS 23.4R1 or later is required.
