Three Juniper SRX firewalls share this power supply: the SRX1600, SRX2300 and SRX4120. The JPSU-450W-AC delivers 450W from an AC input and is sized for a 1 RU chassis.
Security teams order it for two reasons. One is to replace a supply that has failed. The other is to add a second supply to a firewall that shipped with one, so the unit can keep running if a supply goes down. A spare on the shelf also shortens repair time at remote sites.
