Overview

FlashSystem 900 does not use standard SSDs. It uses IBM MicroLatency modules, and the 00DJ365 is the 5.7TB version, built on MLC flash and ordered as feature code AF25. Modules are hot-plug.

It fits the IBM FlashSystem 900 in machine types 9840-AE2 and 9843-AE2. Install rules are strict: an enclosure takes 6, 8, 10 or 12 modules, and 5.7TB modules cannot be mixed with 1.2TB or 2.9TB modules in the same enclosure. Plan the module count before you order.
