HPE 16W Smart Hybrid Capacitor with 260mm Cable

The P65042-B21 is a cache capacitor, not a battery. HPE lists it as a 16 W Smart Hybrid Capacitor and supplies it with a 260 mm cable. It supports the cache module of a storage controller.

The 16 W rating is much lower than that of the lithium-ion battery kits in the same range, and the capacitor design is simply a different way to hold up the cache module through a power loss. Which one your server wants depends on the controller and chassis, so use the part number in your server documentation rather than choosing by wattage alone.

The 260 mm cable is the longer length, which gives more reach inside the chassis.
