HPE P26262-B21 uses the Broadcom BCM57414 controller to drive 2 SFP28 ports that run at 10GbE or 25GbE. It sits in a standard PCIe slot and talks to the server over PCIe 3.0 x8.
SFP28 cages take SFP28 transceivers or direct-attach cables, and the 10/25 rating means the card can join either a 10G or a 25G switch port, which is useful while a network is being upgraded in stages.
