HPE 256GB 8Rx4 DDR4-3200 CAS-26 LRDIMM SmartMemory Kit

The HPE P07654-B21 is a 256GB load-reduced DIMM, an 8Rx4 module running at DDR4-3200 with a CAS latency of 26. It has ECC and sits in the SmartMemory line.

With 256GB on one stick, a handful of modules can take a server to a very large memory total. That suits in-memory databases, big virtualization hosts and similar workloads that are limited by RAM capacity.

The option number P07654-X21 is listed for this memory, which helps if a supplier quotes the other suffix.

Because the module has eight ranks, check how many your server allows per channel. Also keep in mind that LRDIMMs are not generally mixed with registered DIMMs, so a server using this module should hold only LRDIMMs.
