Overview
FlexibleLOM cards replace the fixed onboard network ports on ProLiant servers with a swappable module, and the HPE 562FLR-T is a two-port 10GbE version. It installs in the FlexibleLOM connector, so it does not use one of the server's PCIe slots.
With two ports at 10GbE, the card offers up to 40 Gb/s bi-directional bandwidth in total. Because it replaces the onboard ports, it keeps every expansion slot available for storage or other adapters.
