Overview
The HPE 535T is a two-port 10GbE adapter that runs over copper. Both ports use RJ45 connectors, so it connects to 10GBASE-T switches with standard copper cabling rather than optics.
It is a PCIe card built on the BCM57416 controller. HPE lists the ProLiant DL380 Gen10 and DL325 Gen10 as compatible systems.
Copper 10GbE is a good match for racks where switches and patching are already RJ45, or where the cost of optics adds up across many hosts. Two ports per card allow a redundant pair of links.
