The Dell PowerEdge FC830 is the largest sled for the 2U FX2 enclosure. It is full-width, so an enclosure holds up to 2 of them, and each has 4 processor sockets for Intel Xeon E5-4600 v4 processors.

Memory is 48 DDR4 slots with a maximum of 1536GB. Four sockets and that many slots give you a lot of cores and memory channels in a compact enclosure.

It suits workloads that benefit from many cores in one system image, such as large virtual machine hosts and databases, while keeping the shared power and management of the FX2 chassis. You will need the enclosure to run the sled.
