Dell PowerEdge FC430 Quarter-Width 2-Socket Server Sled for FX2

The Dell PowerEdge FC430 is the smallest sled in the FX2 family: a quarter-width, 2-socket server that fits a 2U FX2 enclosure holding up to 8 sleds.

Each sled takes Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors and has 8 DDR4 memory slots for up to 256GB. Local storage is listed as up to 2 x 1.8in SSD, so this model is built for compute with little onboard capacity.

With 8 sleds per enclosure, it targets high-density deployments such as virtualization, web tiers or remote desktop farms, where many small nodes share one chassis and boot from small drives or the network.

The FC430 is offered new or refurbished, both with a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty. No used offer is listed. Send us the enclosure you have or the number of sleds you want, and we will reply with pricing.
