The Dell PowerEdge C6320 is a server node, not a standalone chassis. It slots into a 2U C6300 enclosure that holds up to 4 nodes, which makes it a dense building block for scale-out compute.

Each node has 2 processor sockets for Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors and 16 DDR4 memory slots, supporting up to 512GB. Because the nodes share an enclosure, you need the C6300 chassis to run them.

That shared design suits clusters, virtualization farms and similar workloads where many identical nodes are better than a few large servers. If you are adding to an existing C6300, the C6320 is the node to match.
