Overview
The Cisco 350 Series SG350-10SFP 10-Port Gigabit Managed Switch, MPN SG350-10SFP-K9, is built for fiber rather than copper at the access layer. Its 8 downlink ports are SFP slots, and 2 Gigabit copper/SFP combo uplinks complete the 10 ports.
With SFP downlinks you choose the optics for each port, so the switch fits short fiber runs to remote cabinets, small buildings or equipment rooms. Maximum port speed is 1GbE and switching capacity is 20 Gbps. Optics are not included, so tell us the transceiver type you need when you request pricing.
There is no PoE, and the switch is fanless, running silently.
If your endpoints are ordinary copper devices, a copper-port model is simpler. The SFP version makes sense where fiber is already installed or planned.
