Parallel MPO cabling is not required here: the Cisco QSFP-400G-FR4 gets by on a duplex LC pair. It is a 400GBASE-FR4 transceiver in the QSFP112 form factor and runs over single-mode fiber for up to 2 km.
That makes it a fit for longer data center runs or links between neighboring buildings on existing duplex fiber, without pulling new trunk cable. It has one port and a 400GbE speed rating.
Three conditions are on offer. New and refurbished modules include a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty, and used modules come with 90 days. Since it uses duplex LC rather than MPO, the existing patching in many single-mode plants will work without cassettes or trunks.
