MPO-16 sets the Cisco QDD-400G-SR8-S apart from many 400G multimode modules. The title gives 400GBASE-SR8, APC polish, OM4 multimode and a 100 m reach, and the wavelength is 850 nm.

Cabling is the main planning point here. An MPO-16 module needs MPO-16 patch cords and panels, so a plant built around a different multi-fiber count will not connect to it without conversion. Tell us how your trunks are terminated and which switch model you use, and we will confirm that the module and cabling will work together before you order. Ask for matching patch cords in the same request if you need them.

The module is a single-port unit that fits QSFP-DD cages. Make sure the far end uses a matching module. Condition options are new and refurbished, and each carries a choice of 1 year or 3 years of warranty.
