Overview
Two 100G channels share the Cisco QDD-2X100-SR4-S. It is titled 2x100GBASE-SR4, uses an MPO-24 connector with OM4 multimode and reaches 100 m, with an 850 nm wavelength. The form factor is QSFP-DD and the media is multimode fiber.
The MPO-24 connector is its practical hurdle. Cabling must provide MPO-24 ends, which is not the same as the more common smaller multi-fiber types, so check your trunks and panels. The module still presents a 400GbE port speed. Ask us about matching trunks if needed.
