For a Nexus 9300-FX3 that draws its cooling air in at the port side, the Cisco Nexus 9300 Fan Module (NXA-FAN-35CFM-PI) provides 35 CFM of airflow. The PI at the end of the part number stands for port-side intake.
A mix-up between PI and PE is the most common slip with fan modules. The part looks almost identical to its exhaust-side relative and fits the same slot, but it pushes air the other way.
