Overview
This is a gigabit access switch with fast uplinks. The Cisco Nexus 9348GC-FX3 (N9K-C9348GC-FX3) serves 48 copper devices at 10M, 100M or 1G, and it sends traffic upstream through 4 x 1/10/25G SFP28 and 2 x 40/100G QSFP28 ports.
Switching capacity is 696 Gbps across 54 ports, and the highest port speed is 100GbE. It is built for racks of out-of-band management links, older servers and other 1G equipment that still needs a data center switch with modern uplinks.
Because the downlinks stop at 1G, this model is a match for management networks, console servers, older hosts and appliances that never needed more. The 25G SFP28 uplinks can also run at 10G or 1G, which helps if the upstream switch is an older design.
New and refurbished units carry a 1 year or 3 years warranty; used units carry 90 days.
