Rear-to-front airflow is the defining trait of the Arista 500W AC 1RU Power Supply, Rear-to-Front Airflow (PWR-511-AC-BLUE). In many data centers the switch ports face the cold aisle and the power supplies face the hot aisle, or the other way round, and this variant exists for the second layout.
