About

AMD

We list EPYC 7002, 7003, 9004 and 9005 series processors, from 16 to 128 cores. AMD Instinct and Radeon accelerators and AMD network adapters are listed under Lenovo part numbers.

AMD processors are identified by model number and by an ordering part number (OPN) such as 100-000000323. A P suffix, as in the EPYC 7543P, marks a single-socket-only part. Some EPYC processors from OEM servers are locked to that vendor's platform through AMD Platform Secure Boot and will not run in another brand's server.

When you buy AMD processors, check the series and socket your server supports, and ask whether a used or refurbished processor is vendor-locked. New, refurbished and used parts are available, each with its own warranty in your quote.
